A senior student from Lincoln High School named Cedrick Argueta is one of the 12 people in the world to obtain a perfect score in the Advance Placement calculus exam.
He said, "I’m glad I’m able to do this not just for my culture but all
cultures so everybody can realize that all things are possible."
This witty kid is the fruit of a Filipina nurse who is originally from Batangas and a maintenance manager from El Salvador.
The student gained praise and was honored by the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors because of the historical score that he got.
Because of this, he got an invitation from the President of the United States. One of his dreams includes working for NASA.
“I really was excited to have the most influential man in the world,
the most important man in the world invite me to the White House for the
science fair,” he said.
Cedrick also recognized his friends and study buddies who worked hard to help him get this perfect score.
Cedrick; way to go on your perfect score! How about you come by the next White House Science Fair? https://t.co/r8TGIJICh7— President Obama (@POTUS) January 31, 2016
