One unfortunate man from China has to celebrate Valentines Day alone after his 'gold digging' girlfriend left him a day before because of the fact that he was 'too poor.'
The former couple went to the guy's hometown for a reunion as well as to introduce the girl to his family. With such delight, they served what the family thought festive foods to impress the girl, however, it wasn't the case.
The woman suddenly walked out from the dinner table disappointed and eventually broke up with her boyfriend. They have been dating for more than a year now, but after seeing how poor they were, she was wary that he might not be able to support her at all.
After leaving the house, she even had the guts to humiliate the man and his family by posting her experience on Facebook along with the picture of the foods they served at the reunion.
She said, “I came to my senses almost instantly and decided I’d save the
crying and heartache later by breaking off with him now! But I’m afraid
to leave because it’s dark outside and it’s tough getting transport so
I’ll buy a train ticket back to Shanghai first thing in the morning!”
What's more shocking was when her parents and friends share the same
thought, and praised her for breaking up with her boyfriend.
